Summary

​The Hideaway Brew Garden is looking for a Hostess to join us for our Summer 2023 season! The Hideaway is an outdoor live music venue and bar located in Hoffman Estates, IL. We will be open Thursday-Sunday, from May until October 2023. Shift hours may adjust based on events/weather/etc. At minimum, candidates will work 8+ shifts per month. Shifts will be discussed monthly with the Director of Events.

Hours

  • Part time position, Thursday through Sunday, Evenings​

  • Seasonal: May- October 2023

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.

  • Answer questions regarding event schedule and open hours to guests.

  • Managing rental reservations with the Bookeo platform.

  • Monitor incoming guests for outside food and beverages.

  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

  • Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.

  • Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, etc.

  • Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

  • Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them, along with assistance from Managers on site.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Availability to work as needed on weekends, nights, holidays and outside.

  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate calmly and effectively to successfully defuse tense situations.

  • Must have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time and carry heavy items.
